Canonical company said that the Internet browser Firefox will remain the default browser in the operating system Ubuntu until the next version 12.04 release next year at least.
The announcement came from Mark Shuttleworth Executive Director of the company after the statement that the Google Chrome browser has become close to make it the default browser in Ubuntu.
Garry Carr Director of Communications at Canonical, said: "The plan registered system Ubuntu is a survival of Firefox capable browser by default for the system until the release version of Ubuntu 12.04 next year which will be part of it, after that, and like most applications, the team will assess the browser on the system and take resolution ".
